| Description: | Hedgehog/Intein domain, C-terminal region. Domain has been split to accommodate large insertions of endonucleases. |
| Interpro abstract (IPR003586): | Hedgehog proteins are involved in intracellular signalling required for a variety of patterning events during development. The hint domain is found in these proteins, as well as several proteins which contain inteins and undergo protein splicing. These include the V-type ATP synthase alpha chain from Pyrococcus and the Guillardia replicative DNA helicase DNAB. The Hedgehog/Intein domain has been split to accommodate large insertions of endonucleases. This entry is the C-terminal region. |
